Sales Administrator (telesales)

Overview

A leading provider of high-quality educational materials and services based in central London is looking for a Sales Assistant to support the Business Development Manager for Europe, Asia & the Middle East. The role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic sales department and on many varied and interesting projects with an international focus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients
  • Maintain and update sales database
  • Chase purchase orders & unpaid invoices
  • Work with the Production Department to assist in scheduling of print delivery times and pricing
  • Assist in mass mailing campaigns
  • Liaise with our US office on journal schedule
  • Handle renewals of journals
  • Research new products and markets

The successful candidate will be:

  • Able to multi-task
  • Pro-active, resourceful and a good team player
  • Adaptable and willing to take on new and different responsibilities as they arise

The successful candidate will also have

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc)
  • Office based work experience
  • A friendly and confident telephone manner
  • Good organisational skills
